If you are under 25, live somewhere around the world and have something to say about HIV/AIDS, sexuality, violence against girls or women, or drugs, alcohol and sex, we encourage you to participate in the Global Dialogues 2014 contest, supported by Hivos.
“It’s because I have something I want to say, and I want my voice to be heard!” is the slogan on this year’s contest. Hivos and Global Dialogues believe young peoples’ voices must be heard to understand their thoughts and feelings.
We invite young people to come up with an original idea for a short film about HIV/AIDS, sexuality, violence against women, or issues surrounding drugs, alcohol and sex. You can write a short story or send a video, a poem, a song… or almost any format where you can express yourself! The stories can be fictional or based on real life experiences. You can take part alone or work with a group of friends.
All the entries are studied by juries and winning ideas are turned into films by some world renowned producers. The films will be featured online and on TV.
Global Dialogues 2014 contest is now open and will close on the 31 of March. For more information about the contest please visit the Global Dialogues website link in in the right sidebar.
